In this retelling the Arthurian "sword in the stone" legend, you play Arthur, in search of the stolen Excalibur, sword of kings. You're assisted in your quest by Merlin, who gives you the power to transform yourself into a variety of animals. The game is historically very well-researched and has a colorful assortment of situations and characters that add to the atmosphere. It even sports an intuitive on-line hint system which dispenses hints only when absolutely necessary. If you love text-adventure, this one is not to be missed.
